Study abroad is life-changing! Three international students on their study abroad in Japan along with one Japanese embarked on an adventure cycling trip to the northern-most island of Hokkaido in Japan. An Argentinian, an Indonesian, a Japanese, and an American, all four who knew nothing about cycling, took on the adventure that would impact them and bond their friendships for the rest of their lives. 27 years later, they (3) would reunite in Catamarca, Argentina to take part in a “Japan en Catamarca” (Japan in Catamarca) event that 120,000 people would come to see. The one-year study abroad experience of Raul Jalil would change his life and view of the world forever.
