1. CENTAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
Take a walk through the central business district (CBD) where old colonial buildings are combined with modern high rise architecture.
2. ANCZAK BRIDGE
Get a look at the beautiful Anczak Bridge, located near the fish market halls where you find fresh fish&chips.
3. MANLY BEACH
Take an exciting 30 min ferry to Manly Beach and walk down the gorgeous promenade while watching surf activities.
4. UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY
Explore the main campus of the University of Sydney, where you can find a real-life Hogwarts building called the Quadrangle.
5. BONDI BEACH
Find your way to the famous Bondi Beach with its perfect ocean waves for a refreshing dip in the water & unforgettable surfing lessons.
6. ICEBERG POOL
Take some Instagram pictures in front (or even inside) the popular Iceberg Pool next to Bondi Beach, which is filled with fresh & natural saltwater.
7. CIRCULAR QUAY
Spend an evening around Circular Quay from where you get the best perspectives on the landmarks of the city. Ideally, combine it with a visit to one of the best bars at the ROCKS – the oldest city part of Sydney.
8. ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN
A long stroll through the huge Royal Botanical Garden is a must. It’s directly connected to the CBD and the Harbour and offers several plant exhibitions inside pavilions.
9. ART GALLERY OF NSW
We recommend a visit to the Art Gallery of NSW – with its free admission to the general exhibitions of significant Australian artwork. (the Museum of Contemporary Art is also highly recommended.)
10. DARLING HARBOUR
Get to know the modern district called Darling Harbour, a large recreation area with numerous restaurants, shopping and entertainment centers, which is designated as a pedestrian zone.
10. SYDNEY HARBOUR
Plan enough time to enjoy the “jewel” of the city – the Sydney Harbour – which offers several activities such as kayaking, ferry riding, bridge climbing etc.
11. HARBOUR BRIDG
Take a long walk (or ride) over the massive Harbour Bridge from where you get the best bird perspective over the city.
12. MONA VALE BEACH
Have a swim at the less crowded beaches in the northern part of Sydney – for example Mona Vale Beach, which offers an amazing rock pool.
13. PALM BEACH
Take a day off at Palm Beach where you have the offer to climb to a great lookout to see how the ocean and still waters are separated by nature.
14. OPERAHOUSE
Find your way around and inside the legendary #OperaHouse. With its evening light show and unique performance program this architectural masterpiece is a must see.
15. BENNELONG Restaurant
Have an unforgettable (pricy) 3-course dinner at the Bennelong Restaurant inside the Opera and be amazed by the atmosphere.
