In this episode I travel from the city of Tokyo to the cultural capital of Japan, namely the city of Kyoto. For many of us when we think or dream of Japan we really dream of Kyoto. I start the day showing you parts of my travel which takes me on 2 local trains + the world famous bullet train or Shinkansen which may reach speeds of about 300km. After the arrival and a quick stop at our hotel, we head for a late afternoon visit to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, one of the most popular in all of the country. My recommendation is to visit either early in the morning or late afternoon. If you want to climb all the way to the top make sure you are in shape as this will take from 2 to 3 hours. Worth it? Yes absolutely!
