Two-day Mysore Dasara Kite Festival 2019 was organized by the Karnataka tourism department at Lalitha Mahal helipad grounds. Kite festival of India usually held during uttarayana is a unique Gujarati phenomenon where most of the cities of the state fly kites from dawn to dusk.
Over 35 professional kite-flying teams from different cities like Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Telangana, Belagavi and other places had come with their best kite designs.
