Kawagoe AKA "Little Edo" -Tokyo Day Trip Vlog

Kawagoe is a great place to check out, if you want to see a bit of traditional Japan without travelling far out of Tokyo. Kawagoe is in Saitama Prefecture and have a bunch of interesting attractions or sightseeing places, so it makes for a good Tokyo Day Trip.

We checked out the bell of time, kurazukuri, and the kashiya yokocho or Confectionery row?

Kawagoe became a booming area for Japanese desserts and/or candy after the Great Kanto Earthquake rocked most of the Kanto area. There most famous confectioneries are mostly potato based.

Due to the old warehouses architecture, Kawagoe is often refered to as Little Edo or Little Tokyo.
