People are often curious about sex in Japan. Love Hotels are everywhere, yet foreigners know little about them.
Japanese houses are quite small, Families usually remain a family unit for 2 or 3 generations, so a busy house with no sound proofing isn’t ideal when you and your partner need some alone time. This explains the huge industry devoted to short stay, cheap hotels that Japanese couples often go to. They much like traditional hotels, but with a few interesting extras here and there…
You can typically stay for an hour, a few hours or a whole night, and the low prices mean they’re an excellent alternative to traditional Japanese hotels when travelling or miss the last train.
I was invited to hotels in Kyoto and Osaka to investigate just how normal love hotels rooms typically are, and their low price makes them a great option when you need a cheap hotel room.
