– Well, we’re very excited to announce that TBEX 2020 North America is gonna be held in the happiest city in America, the heart of Cajun and Creole country, Lafayette, Louisiana. That’s gonna be taking place October 7th through the 9th, 2020. So Lafayette, Louisiana, is known for our food, music, and culture. We’re like a little world within ourselves, and so what you guys can expect whenever you come down is a little dose of all of that, but what we’re really excited about is that this conference is gonna end with one of our largest festivals, Festivals Acadiens et Créoles. It’s three days, 60 musicians, six stages. There’s a food demonstration, food court, all of the above. It’s really a Cajun and Creole experience like no other, and we cannot wait to share it with you guys. So the great thing about Lafayette is that we do have a regional airport with direct flights coming in from Houston and Atlanta, so transportation should not be a problem once you get there. It’s gonna be very beautiful around October. It’s always what I like to call windows-open weather. It’s gonna be very breezy, and then that goes perfectly with what we got planned for you guys after the conference and before the conference. You’ll be able to get a little dose of everything. We’ve got food tours, we’ve got cultural tours. If you like music, we’ve got plenty of that. And don’t worry, if you don’t know how to dance, there’s plenty of people waiting in line to teach you. So Festivals Acadiens et Créoles is been going on for about 45 years now, and it’s exploration of the Cajun and Creole cultures, both music, the food, and the culture, so it’s a blending of six different stages where 60 of our local musicians perform Cajun and Zydeco and Creole music. And then, we have a cultural tent where there’s a cultural exchange with some of our cultural bearers, where you can basically ask questions. There’s an interviewer, and then the other great thing is that if you’re a musician, please bring your instruments because we also have a jam tent so you can practice some of the music that you’re seeing onstage, led by some of the people that you’ve just watched. So Lafayette, we have a really thriving downtown right now, so it’s very great, you can get a little dose of everything. If you’re into art or museums, we got plenty of that, plenty of food. You know, we got plenty of nightlife if people are interested in that, and of course, live music goes with everything, so we have plenty of that served up. You can go to LafayetteTravel.com, and then I would also just suggest checking out our blog. We’ve got tons of travel ideas if you’re looking for different things to do. We’ve got plenty of suggestions. We have a host of writers that write for us, and so they know what you guys like, and they’ll be able to serve it up. We can’t wait to see you in the happiest city in America, Lafayette, Louisiana, for TBEX 2020 in North America, taking place October 7th through the 9th. ‘Laissez les bons temps rouler’.
