Sakura Watch March 8, 2020 – Ep 01 – Hey everyone, the Sakura Watch is back with our first update of the year for March 8, 2020.
A wonderful weekend full of beautiful spring-like weather served the perfect opportunity to get out for a walk in High Park.
I was happy to see the trees all looked healthy and robust, with little signs of damage from the winter.
While taking a closer look at the blossom buds situated along the winding path down Cherry Hill, all indications were showing they were developing well with excellent round shapes and deep bronze colours.
Travelling further down the path to the shores of Grenadier Pond, I was delighted to continue to see healthy-looking trees and buds. Though still too early for an accurate prediction, conditions today are pointing to possible bloom dates within the weeks of late April to early May.
And that wraps up this episode of Sakura Watch! Thanks for watching!
