Hello & thank you for watching my Hokkaido Part III vlog

How We Spend 2D2N in Hakodate

Day 6 – Arrival at Hakodate (night time)
Today morning we are at Noboribetsu heading to Toya, then take JR Super Hakuto to Hakodate. It is raining today, and we have to cancel all our activities but only go out for dinner. We planned to have our dinner at Daimon Yokocho (it is the only street that filled with 26 food stalls in Hakodate), but too bad that most of the shops are close and the remaining shops seem like full with people. We have no choice but to cross the road to go izakaya (Yūshun Ikatarou) for our dinner.
Hotel : Four Points by Sheraton

Day 7 – Strolling Around Motomachi
Morning we are going to Hakodate Morning Market for breakfast. Trying seafood donburi (seafood rice bowl) at いくら亭 Ikura-tei, Donburi Yokocho. I think seafood donburi is not as tasty as I thought, but it can be try. Besides, if you are sea urchin lover, you could try sea urchin rice bowl at Uni Murakami (sorry I did not try this yet as I am too full). After breakfast, we take bus to Hakodate Meijikan and continue walk to Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse. Internet suggests to try souffle-type cheesecake (original flavor) at Pastry Snaffle’s, and cheese souffle at Petite Merveille, but we are too full to try, so we skip it and totally forget about it. After all, we walk along Nijukken Zaka Slope to Motomachi area. Below are the route we walk :
Nijukken Zaka Slope → Catholic Church Hakodate Motomachi → Hakodate Orthodox Church → walk up stair to neighbourhood area for Hakodate Orthodox Church with ocean view (and the view is freaking amazing) → Hachiman-zaka Slope → Minatogaoka Street / soft serve street → Mt Hakodate Ropeway Station → Mt Hakodate for million dollar view → Lucky Pierrot (dinner) → Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse
My original route should be :
Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse → “Statue of Kimi-chan,” the girl in red shoes → Old British Consulate → Motomachi Park → Old Public Hall → Minatogaoka Street / soft serve street → Hachiman-zaka Slope → Hakodate Orthodox Church → Catholic Church Hakodate Motomachi → Mt Hakodate Ropeway Station

Day 8
Breakfast at Hakodate Morning Market again, but this time we are going to try KING CRAB!!! We simply pick a restaurant, so I donno which shop I’m going. When we reach there, we are seeing King Crab, and worker don’t allow us to order the whole king crab as he believes that we are not able to finish it (which is correct and lucky he rejects us). At the end, we order hairy crab, scallop, and 2 king crab legs (we are not full and should order more!!). After buying dry scallop, we are back to our hotel to pack luggage and check-out. Taking bus to Goryokaku Park and go up to Goryokaku Tower Observatory for panoramic view of the entire star-shaped fort. Don’t forget to try Milkissimo, it is so delicious !! Continue talking bus to Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden for hot-tubbing monkeys, and back to Hakodate Station.
