Kerama Island National Park:
After our stay in Tokashiki Island, we continue our Okinawa adventures on the next island, Zamami Island!
Do I recommend exploring Zamami Island by bicycle? For the average tourist, hell no hahaha! Zamami Island is REALLY mountainous and you need a decent level of fitness to conquer all the hills. So an electric bicycle or a scooter is much more relaxing. But I would definitely rent a bicycle again because it is a) much cheaper, b) more exercise and c) you get a much more intense feeling of adventure and accomplishment right? 😉
Itinerary:
1) (Lunch at) Zamami Port
2) Ama Beach
3) Unaji-no-Sachi Observation Deck
4) Inazaki Observation Deck
5) Takatsukiyama Observation Deck (with views of Furuzamami Beach)
6) Chishi Observation Deck
7) Touma (most Eastern part)
And all the way BACK to Unaji-no-Sachi Observation Deck for the best sunset ever. According to Google Maps, that’s a 24.5 km bicycle day tour!
