⑷ Why a long local train ride is always fun (Hakodate to Sapporo)

Day 3. Starting at Hakodate, the view changed dramatically. As I went north and/or closer to the Sea of Japan, the snow delivered an amazing view. It took 8 to 9 hours by train to get to Sapporo from Hakodate.
