When you spend as much time in airports as we do you pick up a few tricks to help easy the pain…. We do the Tokyo to Vancouver run a lot so we thought we would release a little vlog on how we get from A to B relatively smoothly. First things first Uber rules, and there is some of the best Uber driver’s/cars in Tokyo, like almost all things Japanese, very efficient, clean and a bonus, friendly. Basically the same price if not a little bit more yen, but way worth it. Another option we opt for is the Airport Limo (Bus) service, instead of taxi or train. Unless you’re a baller the taxi is out, if you have luggage, then the train is a drag. For 3100 yen the AL is a steal and very convenient. You will probably have to wait a bit for your “Limo” so why not hit the corner store and get yourself an ice cream bar, the Japanese really excel at them. Once you reach the airport(s) they are calm and quite relaxing as far as airports go and generally speaking you receive next to no grief from security or immigration, if you follow the rules. Once inside the terminal feel free to buy whisky, eat sushi and blow the rest of your yen on massage a chair, that’s what we do. Travel Safe!
