Japan – Okuni Shrine Archery Festival
The Okuni Shrine (小國神社, Okuni jinja), is a Shinto shrine in the town of Mori, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
This festival is to help with the new crops about to be planted in springtime and these archers will bring God’s blessing to the crops through the arrows.

Japan has a long and amazing history so it is interesting to see these kinds of festivals that started hundreds of years ago.
