► The Hayabusa Shinkansen (bullet-train) is THE coolest train in the world – if you think otherwise, you are wrong! Extremely well designed, excellent seat-comfort with all the legroom you can wish for (even for a foreigner with long legs) and it runs amazingly smoothly and almost silent. Hayabusa Shinkansen goes 320 km/h (approx. 200 mph) between Tokyo Station and Aomori.
The train-set featured in this video is Hayabusa (E5-series) combined with a Super Komachi (E6). The latter one is the newest, but basically the same, except for the color – obviously – slightly different headlights, and it offers a different brand of toiletpaper, as well as a few other details.
If you plan on going to Japan, and you get the opportunity riding this train, please do yourself the favor – it’s the next best thing to space-travel, really. – Enjoy!
