A folk tradition which is a collaboration between Namahage and Japanese drummers. They play big drums, wishing for peace to the household and good harvest. Sadly I could only film about 1/3rd of their total show on February 7th 2020 at Shinzan Shrine Oga city Akita Prefecture because I had to run to catch a good position to film the climax of the show when the Namahage descend from the mountain. But you can see their Tokyo performance in my videos too!
