November 2019 – As always, timing is everything! Early 2019 we planned a trip to travel through Hong Kong on our way to Thailand and decided to spend a few days exploring the area. Who knew that the civil unrest would continue and even worsen at that time?
Due to this our plans of exploring the city were scrapped, leaving us days to explore the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort area. This video highlights our days in Disneyland Park, which were amazing as the crowds were non-existent with little to no waits for anything! There are six Disney Parks throughout the world (Anaheim, Orlando, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai), which Hong Kong was our final, meaning that we’ve been to them all.
There were a few unique offerings, such as Mystic Manor and the Avenger rides, but the overall feel of the park was very Disney. The live shows didn’t disappoint either.
