Osaka is a large port city in the Kansai region of Honshu in Japan. There are plenty of things to do once you arrive. After making your way from the island airport find a central place in the city to base yourself. Will chose Hotel Unizo Osaka Shinsaibashi, as it was reasonable on price and close to the metro system.
Getting around the city on foot is easy but with all the streets and small alleyways it’s easy to get lost. Will purchased a data sim card at the airport using www.easygojapan.com. Offline maps is not available in Japan so you need to have a live connection or use another app that has the ability to provide your location without a connection to the internet.
