Japan | Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Kyoto-Osaka

This travel video is in honour of the beautiful and eccentric experience that is Japan. As first-time visitors we spent 9 days exploring Tokyo, Lake Kawaguchiko, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. We’d love to go back and explore more of Japan one day.

☞ Owl Cafe-Akiba Fukurou » The owl cafe “Akiba Fukurou” is the most popular owl cafe in akihabara, Tokyo, its one of the rarest places in the world where you can play with owls.

☞ Odaiba »Odaiba is a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. It’s Tokyo’s greatest entertainment area, with numerous shops, museums, and restaurants, as well as beaches and parks to choose from.

☞ Team Lab Planet Tokyo » A massive Body Immersive space in Tokyo filled with interactive digital artworks by art collective teamLab.

☞ Joypolis » This indoor amusement park in Odaiba is packed with Sega’s virtual-reality attractions

☞ 6 Story Gundam at Diver City Tokyo » An interesting shopping center for tourists that includes the world’s only full-size Gundam.

☞ Odaiba Oedo Onsen Monogatari » Odaiba Oedo Onsen Monogatari provides the ultimate bathing experience in Tokyo with an Edo-era twist.

 ☞ Hotel Gracery Shinjuku » This view was taken from the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku also known as the Godzilla Hotel.

☞ Sumo wrestling training » Sumo is a form of competitive full-contact wrestling where a rikishi attempts to force his opponent out of a circling ring or into touching the ground with any body part other than the soles of his feet. The sport is originated in Japan, the only country where it is practised professionally. The sumo’s were training for there upcoming tournament by the end of January.

☞ Ginza » One of the city’s top shopping districts, Ginza is packed with upmarket boutiques and ritzy cocktails. We visit the famous Suntory Whiskey for a whiskey tasting.

☞ Tokyo Tower » Reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower, this landmark features observation area & other attractions.

☞ Shinjuku » best known as the best entertainment districts in the city

☞ Robot Restaurant » A highly recommended neon cabaret show mixing robots and dancers for a pleasant assault to the senses.

☞ Shibuya Crossing » Tokyo’s famous intersection, said to be the busiest in the world.

☞ Uobei Sushi » An alternative style of conveyer belt sushi chain.

☞ Shinkansen Bullet Train from Tokyo to Kyoto » With speeds of 200mp/h (320km/h) this train can make the 300mi journey from Kyoto to Tokyo in ~2 hours.

Mt.Fuji:

☞ Lake Kawaguchi » In the border of the towns of Fujikawaguzhiko and Minobu ion southern Yamanashi Prefecture near Mount Fuji. It is the 2nd largest of the Fuji Five Lakes.

Kyoto:

☞ Fushimi Inari » Walking miles through the ~10,000 #Torii gates around Fushimi Inari. People and businesses far and wide donate a gate to give thanks for prosperity and hope for good fortune.
