Day 8 Itinerary (January 28, 2020)
1. Nara Park (Free Entrance)
– It’s a Park with a deer walking around the area. You can feed them, picture and walk together. Some of the deer are aggressive when they smell that you are holding a food or inside your bag they will bite it.
2. Fushimi Inari-taisha, Kyoto (Free Entrance)
– It’s a shrine that became the object of imperial patronage during the early Heian period. The highlight of the shrine is the rows of torii gates, known as Senbon Torii.
3. Higashiyama-ku
– A preserves look and feel of feudal-era Japan in a wood-built historic quarter of narrow lanes lined with traditional pottery stores, tea houses, and restaurants for multi-course kaiseki meals. Centuries-old Zen and Shinto sites include lantern-lit Yasaka Shrine and hillside temple Kiyomizudera, which overlooks the city. Maruyama Park hosts festive hanami picnics under springtime cherry blossoms.
4. Shinsaibashisuji
– A shopping district that you can buy a lot of items. The stores closes early at around 8pm, some stores close at 9pm. Restaurant are open till midnight. This place is also good for food trip.
