This is a keyhole-shaped tumulus located in Yanai, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. A large copper mirror has been excavated and is designated as a national historic site. Yanai Chausuyama Tumulus The Yanai Chausuyama Tumulus is a 90-meter-long front tumulus that was built from the end of the 4th century to the beginning of the 5th century. It was discovered by a local boy in 1905! The single-headed twin-hull monster mirror has the largest diameter in Japan 44 from a tumulus. An 8cm mirror (single-headed twin-hull monster mirror) has been excavated and is now designated as a National Historic Site! It is maintained as a tomb park, and locals and riders taking a touring break on tourist bikes spend their time in the rich nature of the park.
