北海道豊頃町にある大津海岸では冬期間に氷塊が見られます。透明度が高く、光を浴びると宝石のように輝いて見えることから“ジュエリーアイス”と呼ばれています。
Ice blocks can be seen on the Otsu coast in Toyokoro town, Hokkaido during the winter. It is called “jewelry ice” because it has high transparency and looks like a jewel when exposed to light.
