Japan’s lowest mountain of Hiyoriyama in Miyagi Pref. Tohoku
東日本大震災の津波被害を受けた後に日本一低い山に返り咲きをした日和山は、宮城県仙台市の蒲生干潟にあります。
元祖日本一と名が付いているのは、大阪の天保山（標高4.53m）に1位の座を明け渡しており、日和山が標高6.05mで国内2位となっていました。
しかし、東日本大震災による大津波と地盤沈下の被害を受けて山体は崩落。
その後の計測で標高3メートルになった事がわかり、再び日本一の座に返り咲きました。
どちらも人間の手によって作られた築山であり、自然の山としては、徳島の弁天山（標高6.1m）が１位となっています。
この映像は、東日本大震災が発生する前の2010年に撮影しました。
Hiyoriyama mountain, which returned to Japan’s lowest mountain after the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake, is located at Gamo Tidal Flat in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
Tenpozan (4.53m above sea level) in Osaka ranked first, and Hiyoriyama was the second lowest mountain in Japan at 6.05m above sea level.
The mountain collapsed due to the tsunami and land subsidence caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, but subsequent measurements showed that the altitude was 3 meters above sea level, and it became the lowest mountain in Japan again.
Both are built by humans, and Mount Bentenyama mountain in Tokushima (6.1 m above sea level) ranks first as a natural mountain.
