We took an impromptu trip to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, June 30, 2019. We shot some videos of our car ride through Vancouver – East Side, Downtown, Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge and North Vancouver. I took some shots from the backseat and occasionally passed the gimbal/camera to my brother on the passenger seat up front. I’ve edited some of the better footage together here and kept the radio music playing in the background, as it was during the ride.
(I prefer no music myself, but I was a passenger in my brother’s car and he likes to have the radio on and switch stations from time to time. I thought about muting the video or replacing it with generic motor sounds, but it would not have been true to the actual ride. Keeping the radio (and the car air conditioner) sounds would be more authentic. These are popular Vancouver radio stations and this is the music, and news you would have heard that day. And I thought it appropriate that you can hear some Bryan Adams, BTO, The Trews, Tragically Hip, etc. for some added Canadian content. Please feel free to mute or lower the volume if you prefer a more quiet ride. Thanks.)
