In December 2019, I took my 21-year-old son, Adam, for his second visit to India. We spend three days in Varanasi (formerly Benares) where we stayed at the Ganpati Guest House, overlooking the Holy Ganges River. It is a magical place and I hope this short vlog does Varanasi justice.
We found a local Varanasi travel guide who showed us the best places to visit, including the Ganga Aarti ‘Fire Ceremony’, many of the 88 ghats, including Manikarnika Ghat, the old town, and much more. And we had the best lassis ever at the Blue Lassi shop.
