After spending 10 days on mainland Japan, we decided to head to the southern island of Okinawa to get some much needed sun. Although the mainland is often very nice, we did have some bad weather coming, as monsoon season was still hanging on.
On our journey we learned that some flight providers were very strict about how heavy your bags were and we had to come up with some innovative solutions.
Once we arrived in Okinawa, we went and bought a rental car, and headed to the very top of the island to start our journey in this unique part of Japan.
