Before we go to next destination, last video of Aomori city with the pretty bay area and Bay Bridge, Aoiumi Park and WaRasse Museum in the snow. Tsugaru Apples are one of the Aomori bestsellers and the souvenirs you can buy here are exquisite apple juice at $25 a liter, then garlic is also a local bestseller. Aomori is most famous for the hot summer and the NEBUTA MATSURI traditional ancient festival when huge and very colorful 3D paper-made figures lit up from inside and posted on wheeled floats are carried throughout the city, each such float has it’s own musician band and it’s own dancer team and beauty queens and the floats are sponsored by corporations and made every year anew! And then in Winter another most amazing festival of Japan happens here, the Motsuke Matsuri when we can enjoy teams of local men pulling each-other with a Tug of War rope and hope not to fall on the slippery snow, all of this while only wearing a Loin Cloth traditional panties usually worn during summer festivals. So they are basically naked in the snow, check out my 4 videos on them from the 2020 Motsuke tournament!
