This is a vlog-style documentary for our travel during the Coronavirus Covid-19 days in early 2020. We traveled through 6 airports to 4 countries and boarded 5 flights.
Our itinerary: Beijing – Seoul (transit) – Tokyo (21 days) – Kuala Lumpur (transit) – Penang (length TBD)
Background story: we had reserved our tickets a couple of months back to be in Tokyo for a week for work, we were concerned about our flights being cancelled due to the disease. It turned out flight was a go and we decided to proceed with our original plan. But, as the situation of the virus developed, not only we ended up staying in Tokyo for 3 weeks, also signs were clear that we shouldn’t go back to Beijing. At the same time, due to travel bans of travelers coming from China, we were limited to only a few countries. We chose Malaysia (after 14 days of self-quarantine) to be our next stop as it is not too far and much more affordable than Tokyo.
