This is a place I could stay forever. At the edge of the city of Kyoto there’s hidden ryokan at Oigawa river in the middle of a forest: The Hoshinoya Kyoto. Guests are taken by boat to this recluse hotel. It’s a 15 minutes trip from the Togetsukyo bridge in Arashiyama through the Arashi gorge to the Hoshinoya Kyoto. Here’s an inside view of this magical relaxing place.
