Here I show you what I do to getaway; getaway from the Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, tiered and frustrating grind. Getaways don’t always have to be far flights or 10hrs away. Today’s episode is a little different. On this episode I honor Kobe Bryant by visiting many of the murals that have popped up in my area since his passing; from Santa Ana, Orange County to Long Beach to Los Angeles and ending close to Hollywood. On 2/24/2020 was his and Gigi’s memorial at the Staples Center, so, we picked that day to go hit as many murals as we can. Growing up a Laker fan and showing my daughter to be a Laker, this date is a big deal to me. I watched the Lakers bring championships to LA, Kobe become a legend, I celebrated and cheered, now I continue to morn his passing. His work ethic, being a girl dad, the love for his family, the passion for life are all things I embody and want to pass on to my daughter. Join me on this one and help me share this episode.
