“This stretch of the Odyssey tour has been pretty fantastic. For me the Croatian coast is pretty special.”

Part two of our three part series starts in Sarajevo situated beautifully on the Miljacka River. Cyclists then head toward the Adriatic coast, passing through Mostar and its famous arched stone bridge.

Turning northwards, riders will pedal along the water’s edge bound for a rest day in Split. They continue over the next few days spinning up Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, island-hopping on some of the numerous ferries, passing by abandoned fortresses and cruising through charming red-roofed villages.

They soon reach Italy, and the stunning Dolomite alpine scenery and later on the Italian and Austrian Alps. Then it’s on to Germany and eventually Munich where the section ends and the famous beer halls await.
