Enjoy the views of Mt. Tenjo and some of the interesting geological features nearby. Mt. Tenjo is one of the highest peaks in the central mountain area on Guam. Mt. Tenjo is said to possess the only known surviving pre-World War II defensive fortification sites on the island. Unfortunately they are mostly covered with vegetation here, but you may be able to see a glimpse of some of the stone fortifications. Mt. Tenjo also played a key geographical role during the US liberation of Guam during WWII.
