Japanese Food is awesome, and the overall dining experience is just as fun. If you are looking for a casual Japanese food place to eat in Toronto then Guu Ikazaya at 1314 Queen Street West, Toronto is pretty cool place and food is extremely fresh and tasty.
Toronto’s Guu Izakaya is a unique restaurant for a few reasons. It’s the only place we know of where the staff happily shouts at you as soon as you enter the door. It’s also one of the few Japanese spots in the city that’s actually run by Japanese people. Guu is known for its spicy squid rings (Calamari) , baked oysters and fried chicken. We can say it is Japanese pub food at its best. Experience is like Japanese tapas kind of.
