The Lonely Planet’s 2017 Japan guide, has Kamikochi in their “Top 25″ things to do/see in Japan.
After a long day at the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route the day before. My dad, sister and her boyfriend were too exhausted to make this trip. They spent the day exploring Matsumoto, whilst we got lost in Kamikochi and stumbled upon monkeys.
