Momochihama Seaside Park or also known as Momochi Beach, is an artificial beach with a length of one kilometre at the foot of Fukuoka Tower. At the center of the beach is Marizone or Marizon, an artificial island featuring high class restaurants, shops, a wedding hall and a ferry port with connection to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, across the Hakata Bay. The beach is a popular spot for swimming and sports such as volleyball and soccer. If you wish to go to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park via the sea route, go to the back of Marizone and catch Uminaka-Line, a marine liner that will take you there.
