(Disclaimer: I’m very lazy and these are videos from April, 2019!) Today we left our Ryokan in Fujinomiya and headed to Shizouka. On our first day in Shizuoka we visited green tea fields where we also did sushi board making and did a green tea ceremony which I unfortunately didn’t film. On the 2nd day we went strawberry picking, rode a cable car to Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, saw the black volcanic sand beach on Miho No Matsubara and did karaoke! On our last day in Shizuoka the two main things we did were visit the wasabi factory where they make a variety of different wasabi products and we also went to AOI Sample, a food sampling factory and not the kind you think! Here is where they make the fake food you see in restaurant windows that show a replica of the menu dishes. A lot of fun!
