This is Part 1 of our amazing trip to Japan, a 15 day (wish it had been 3 months) whistle stop tour organised by Virgin Holidays.
We chose mid October, which as it turned out is a little too early for the Autumn colours. Well, except at Mt Fuji! Wedding photography commitments plus the tour we chose (Japan Panorama) dictated the dates we could go. So November would be a better time, at least in central Honshu, Japan’s main Island.
The only downside was the weather! It just rained for the first week, 90% of the time. However, we did have a Typhoon midway through, so just our bad luck I guess.
Still, the 2nd week was a lot better and anyway, it didn’t dampen our spirits as we reveled in the mix of tradition, culture and Tech which is Japan!
