Follow Us as Jim shows you around Toyosu Market, more affectionately known as the the New Tokyo Tsukiji Fish Market.

Let Jim kick-start the vlog by showing viewers the place to board a bus from Shinbashi Station to the said market. Jim decided to take the bus because it is a faster and the cheaper option of commute. Being the adventurous soul that he is, he also tried taking the train on his way back to the Shinbashi area. Needless to say, the train ride was a tad more comfortable. However, the travel duration was slightly longer and the train commute cost more than the commute by bus.

After having seen the Toyosu Market, Jim felt that it was a family-oriented space as compared to the former fish market in Tsukiji. However, the selection of food to entice diners and range of retail offerings was lacklustre as compared to the Tsukiji Market. The sterile environment also faints in comparison with the old world charm that the latter offered, enhancing the entire visit experience. As you would have already realised by now, Tsukiji Fish Market was very impressionable and enjoyable to visit.

What do you think of the Toyosu Market? Would you prefer this to the former fish market in Tsukiji? Let us know what you think! 😀
