There are around 1,200 free-roaming #deer in Nara Park who gather around tourists asking for biscuits specially made for deer. This beautiful park includes the component parts of the “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara,” one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Todai-ji Temple, Kofuku-ji Temple, Shosoin Repository, Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Kasugayama Primeval Forest, are also must visits in Nara.
