Japan Road Trip: Takachi to Mount Aso to Kurokawa Onsen (Episode 15.4)

Day 4 – After breakfast at Takachiho Ryokan Shinsen, we drove to Mount Aso to see Volcano. Along the country road, the scenery was very beautiful and we drove through mountains and sight-seeing around. Mount Aso was very windy and cold. Scenery was very nice, it’s a very good place to take photos. We also stopped half way the journey to take some photos at Daikanbo 大観峰.

After that we drove another 46km / 1 hour to Kurokawa Onsen 黒川温泉 to check in the resort. Gekkoujyu 月洸樹 maybe is the best Onsen resort in Kurokawa Onsen 黒川温泉 area. We enjoyed the 5-star food and services in the resort. Especially the hill top Onsen (Tenku no Yu) is fabulous view!
