The Fukushu-en Garden is a traditional Chinese garden in the Kume area of Naha, Okinawa. The garden was constructed in 1992 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the relations between Naha and Fukushu, and the 70th anniversary of Naha as a city, the garden was created in a part of the city that was once the main Chinese cultural and trade area. This is where you can see and enjoy Chinese architecture nearly entirely with the use of wood and stone from Fukushu. The garden is set out around a large koi carp and turtle-stocked lake that stretches throughout the grounds. Fukushu-en includes areas of spring scenery, summer scenery and autumn and winter scenery set in separate sections. Buildings in Fukushu-en Garden include two pagodas, traditional Chinese keyhole gates, a statue of the Chinese poet Li Bai and numerous pavilions and bridges; Okinawa, Japan 2019.
