A Northern Soul is one of our longest running tours taking in the beauty of northern Japan and the Tohoku region. This tour took place in October 2012 as the autumn leaves were beginning to change in the far north. The trip heads to some of the lesser known sights in Japan such as Hiraizumi town with the world heritage Chusonji temple, a temple lodging on the sacred Mt. Haguro, the hot springs and geo-thermal activity of Naruko Onsen and the nature and taiko drums of Sado Island.
