JAPANESE CONVENIENCE STORES
Japan has the best convenience stores in the world. Known locally as konbini or conbini, you can find them on nearly every block in every city in Japan. Every konbini offers cheap but delicious food so if you’re visiting Japan on a budget, then eating your meals at convenience stores is a great way to save money.
I spent a day exploring Tokyo and eating nothing but convenience store food. I had breakfast at Family Mart, lunch at Lawson, and dinner at NewDays. I even enjoyed a nightcap at 7-Eleven, all for less than USD 20!
