サムエル・コッキング苑（冬）[4K] "Samuel Cocking Garden" (Winter)

アイルランド出身で横浜在住のの貿易商サムエル・コッキング氏が明治15年（1882年）に植物園を造成しました。
平成15年（2003年）には「江の島サムエル・コッキング苑」として新たに生まれ変わりました。
和洋折衷さまざまな植物を植栽する植物園として四季折々の花木が目を楽しませてくれます。
庭園には江の島展望灯台（シーキャンドル）があり、展望台からは富士山・三浦半島・大島などを眺めることができます。

Mr. Samuel Cocking, a trader living in Yokohama from Ireland, created a botanical garden in 1882.
In 2003, it was reborn as “Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden”.
As a botanical garden where a variety of plants are planted, the seasonal flowers and trees will delight our eyes.
There is an “Enoshima Observation Lighthouse” (Sea Candle) in the garden, from which we can see Mt. Fuji, Miura Peninsula and Oshima.
