We start by getting the train from Shinjuku Station to Otsuki. This is a JR train on the chuo line. At Otsuki we buy our tickets to go to Lake Kawaguchiko which is one of the five lakes. Fuji Five Lakes is famous for its wonderful views of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy for us but it was still well worth a visit. We went up the Fuji Ropeway, had snacks at the top, went for a little walk and headed back down again. We spent the evening in the Roppongi area where we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo. We had a lovely meal. It was the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup. We then walked to the Tokyo Tower as it was near by in Minato. We looked at the stores underneath the tower before heading back to our hotel at Shinjuku. We are staying at Hotel Citadines Central. Hope you enjoy!! So many things to do in Tokyo!!!
