Kawabata, Fukuoka City – 福岡市川端 – Japan As It Truly Is

Long before Fukuoka had its trendy shopping centers, there was Kawabata from the 1950’s. It’s about 400m long, with over 125 stores and on weekends has over 25,000 visitors. It’s easily accessed from the Nakasu-Kawabata subway station.
