🇯🇵🗼Walking around the city of Takasaki (高崎市), Japan (日本), Gunma Prefecture (群馬県). I was walking around JR Takasaki station (JR高崎駅) of East Exit (東口) (高崎駅東口). I was walking around the north side of East Exit at this time.
Takasaki is a city located in Gunma Prefecture. The estimated population is 368,667. It’s the biggest city in Gunma. “Takasaki is famous as the hometown of the Daruma doll, theoretically representing the Buddhist sage Bodhidharma and in modern practice a symbol of good luck. Takasaki is a regional commercial center and transportation hub and is a major industrial center within Gunma Prefecture.” from Wikipedia. I walked around about 43 minutes. It was pretty much a long walk. In addition, it was a really hot day, but it was worth it. As you can see, Takasaki is a great residential and shopping area. It’s just 1 hour away from the central Tokyo area with a bullet train. I recommend living here.
