We have made it to the infamous Mt. Fuji!
After a stop off at Chureito Pagoda for some amazing views, we arrive at Kawaguchiko Station and set out for some lunch. We try Hotou Fudo, a delicious noodle and veggie soup dish, at Hotou Fudo Kawaguchiko Station just minutes walk from the train.
With full bellies, we walk down to Lake Kawaguchiko and watch the boats on the water. We also stroll along the lake over to Yagizaki Park which had arguably the best views of Mt. Fuji we had seen all day. Mt. Fuji is really a sight to see.
After lots of walking, exploring and picture taking, we headed back to the station in search of Mt. Fuji Ice Cream. It was the perfect sweet treat after a fun-filled day at Mt. Fuji. We highly recommend taking this day trip if you are visiting Tokyo, and hope this video helps with your planning.
