Hey guys, Part 2 of my Japanese travel video series is up! I hope you guys are having a great holiday now with Chinese New Year and I have been working on Part 2 almost immediately I have done the previous one last month! I am glad to be finally sharing it with you after you guys liked A Japanese Thrillseeking Adventure (aka Part 1 of this travel video trilogy)!
So for this video, I intend to view it as a companion piece to Part 1 where unlike that video, I choose to show more of the culture and atmosphere of Japan, specifically the Kansai area. Unlike Part 1, which has vintage vibes, I want to emulate the Instagram / modern video vibe in this one and such that the theme is loosely defined in this video. I filmed everything that Kansai has to offer in this video such that it gives you inspiration to check out these places and to marvel at the views, enjoy the food, etc. I have been thinking of this video like the Thrillseeking one and I intend to create the “Japanese atmosphere” through the footage and music I included in this edit. Plus, I want to make the video as realistic as possible and minimize color grading use except to adjust the contrast and exposure for most shots. I have also used an After Effects template to save time creating certain sequences in the video (but still play well to the theme I envision).
Anyways guys, enjoy this video I have been working to get it done all month long. If you like Part 1, you will enjoy this one! But guys, the 3rd and final part of the travel vlog series may take some time to be conceptualized and uploaded to you guys because I need a short break from doing this ambitious project and also look to do things I have not been touching much these days. You can expect A Japanese Vacation Adventure (working title) to be done around March or April 2020.
