First, some details about myself: I am Andy, and as of writing this, I am close to graduating from university with a marketing major and double minor in music and Japanese. I love seeing the world and learning languages, so this aspect of the channel will mainly involve travel (and using the language). I play in Ocabanda, an ocarina septet, and I have a passion for pineapple clothes.

I recently had a super fast-paced trip to Japan (mainly Kagoshima, Amami, and Okinawa) and had a long layover in Tokyo! I aimed to do as much as possible in this relatively short stay, so despite the jetlag, I ate dinner with a friend at the restaurant he works at (KINKA sushi in Shibuya), stayed a night at a hostel, explored Shibuya and Harajuku, and had a quick bite at McDonald’s!
When I solo travel, it tends to be for an extended, relaxed period of time, so I tend to do much less per hour than here. I really felt the pressure, and I enjoyed every minute of it until I passed out due to jetlag.
Overall, a great time!
