► Here are a some impressions of “Tsukiji Ichiba” – a public market street outside the Tsukiji wholesale fish-market in eastern Tokyo. First and most it offers lots of sushi and Kaizen-don shops. (“Kaizen-don” is a bowl of rice, topped with all sorts of fresh seafood, mixed or a specific kind of your choice)
Apart from seafood-restaurants and -shops, you’ll also find,
fruits & vegetable-shops, and even some handicraft-shops here and there.
It’s a great place to go on a little exploration, and grab yourself a tasty, healty meal while you’re there. Easy access to Tsukiji Ichiban by Oedo Line (Tsukiji Station) or a 10 minutes walk east of Higashi-Ginza Metro Station. – Enjoy!
